Conflict Minerals Policy

Conflict minerals are minerals mined in conditions of armed conflict and human rights abuses, notably in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, such as Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn), Gold (Au), Tungsten (W), by armed parties who are often affiliated with various armed rebel groups. The profits from the sale of these minerals finance continued fighting in Second Congo War, and control of lucrative mines becomes a focus of the fighting as well.

ftech, as the citizen of the world, supports human rights, and embraces its Corporate Social Responsibility. We understand that most of our suppliers do not have a direct purchasing relationship with mining companies. However, we understand that we have the opportunity to have a positive impact on this complex issue as an individual company. We will keep paying attention to this issue, and do due diligence to ensure that ftech and ftech’s suppliers avoid using conflict minerals.
